  5. Eve: My two favorite exhibits at the TN Aquarium are the jellyfish and the seahorses. They have sea dragons! My favorite! It's cool the way these creatures just seem to float along effortlessly.

I hope you get up there. The admission price can wipe out the purse if you don't expect it, but the facility is large, with separate buildings for fresh and salt water and a butterfly house.

We haven't been to Rock City in several years, but have been to Ruby Falls (go there, it's neat)twice in the past two years.

  6. Thanks, all, for the photo compliments. I am often surprised at the photos I get with this little phone camera. Well, the surprises aren't always good ones, but I have to say that I do almost as well, sometimes better, with it as with the other small digital camera I'm currently using.

Before the digital age (Lol! "BDA") I did a good bit of photography with Canon and Pentax SLR's and darkroom work at the museum where I worked. As much as I enjoy some of the benefits of digital photography, I miss using my old dinosaurs.

  8. Eve, thanks for the comment on the header photo, too. It was made from the observation deck at Ruby Falls in Chattanooga. We were the last tour of the day and got finished just in time to see a beautiful full moon rising around 8:00 or 8:30 p.m. And...I made it with the cell phone.

  9. Just found your blog while looking for information on the art being exhibited with the jellyfish at the Tennessee Aquarium. It is exciting to find a blogger with similar interests to mine--finding the art in nature!
