Day of Rest

  1. Sundays are more peaceful when you let sleeping cats lie.

  2. Truer words were never spoken, Fab Furs. Earlier this morning, Twinkie went on a rampage leaping across all the furniture in the den and ending with one of her favorite gymnastic stunts: leaping up as high as possible and grabbing the door facing, then hanging there momentarily before blasting off to another location. Today she got all the way up to the top of the facing. Twice.

  3. Sounds like a perfect plan! Leave it to the cat!

  5. Sweet picture. KB has been sitting on RG's lap the last couple of days. I wanted to take a picture, but RG would NOT have posted it. Bad for his image, I think.

My girls were born when we lived on Sandlin (I think that's the name); not too far from Big Cove Road.

Is the HIC Building still there?

  7. BL, what encouraging news about KB and RG! Sent you an email. The street sounds familiar. I'll check on the building.

Eve and Rusty, this cat could give me lessons on how to relax.

forestwalk/laura k, thanks for visiting. I enjoyed your photos, too. You might have been an archaeologist in a previous life if...(need a catchy Jeff Foxworthy comment here). I know a really tasteless joke about how to tell if an archaeologist has been on your property, but it isn't fit for publication, so I'll have to email it. ;-)
