Bad Kitty!!

Just look at this ball of wool roving! I found it on the floor after Pascal (aka Pants) got into the basket and chose it as his plaything.

Here he is pretending to be innocent to avoid getting scolded. How could you be angry at that sweet face?

Now he is trying to be cute to distract me from his dastardly deeds. Of course, I fell for it.

All I could really do was laugh. I haven't even rewound the ball of roving yet. I'm keeping it like that for a while to remind me of how much enjoyment we can derive from simple things.

  1. I think that second picture says, "I know you're not going to be mad."

    Third picture: "See?"

  2. Amanda, I know. He knows exactly what he is doing and how to manipulate us. He's so funny and a really sweet, neat kitty.

  4. Pascal ("Pants") is the sweetest cat we've ever had. Even when he gets into trouble, it is hard to scold him. He is also the biggest cat we've ever had, weighing in at about sixteen pounds. He's a hulk. His large size often results in some very humorous situations when he thinks he can fit into places the smaller cats can squeeze into. He also sometimes stretches the concept of graceful to extremes.

  5. We have no email this morning (friday) but I was just looking thru your pictures. It was like "old home week" especially with Guntersville dam and the lake. I spent so many great weekends there fishing, boating, camping. I haven't been to H'ville for 20 years. I'm sure it's a lot different now. Both of my parents are in Maple Hills. I think that's the name of it.

  6. We have the SAME cat. My version is a female named Dusty. I'll see if I can get a photo of her on my blog ASAP.

  7. Gilding, Dusty looks like a love. But one who would not hesitate to get into some cat trouble now and then just to keep things lively. Thanks for sharing her photos.
