Universal Explanation

Now I know why I don't have total control of everything. I've been using the wrong device. And I'm sure it must be true, since it seems John has given it a try.

  2. oh well...Happy Birthday anyway...even though you can't control the universe!!
...sounds like too stressful of a job anyway...people just need to learn to control themselves...eh?

hope you had a happy one!! :)

  3. What a great card! Happy Birthday! A Universal Remote would just need batteries, get lost in the sofa, get chewed by the furs, etc., just like a normal one, anyway--with the potential for more dire consequences--better off without it!

  4. I, too, was disappointed to learn that the universal remote control does not really do what the name implies. Oh, well. Already responsible for too many mess-ups, anyway. And it's true, the critters would just nibble off the buttons, so that could lead to some real messes!

Thanks for the BDay wishes. John and I went to Hayes Nature Preserve and hiked for a couple of miles. I got some bad cell phone photos, mostly of fungi, fw/lk, that I hope to post soon.

  5. Happy Birthday. Even Bill Gates wouldn't be able to figure one of those out ...

  6. Happy Birthday!
What an idea though, a universal remote that actually worked...it would just seem too predictable, and life is too much fun for that. Hope you have a great week.
    Smile today. :)
