If...Then

When you eat too much Father's Day dinner you lie down on the sofa.

When you lie down on the sofa you fall asleep.

When you fall asleep on the sofa you wake up with a cat in your face.

Don't wake up with a cat in your face.

Back to Work

Issues were finally resolved between Miss Twinkie and the management of Lehman House of Couture, so it's back to the salt mines for the whole staff. As you can see, I don't exactly run a sweatshop.

Some days I wonder how I would ever get anything done without such good workers.

Lacking in the Art of Persuasion

As a result of her unacceptable sewing room behavior, Sewing Assistant Twinkie has asked for mediation with the Head Seamstress to try to reinstate Twinkie's position as an assistant at Lehman House of Couture.

Unfortunately, Miss Twinkie lost control while presenting her side of the argument.

To make matters worse, she is unwilling to accept advice from Counsel.

This has resulted in a delay the negotiations. At this point, things are at a standstill. The mediation process and treats are on hold until Miss Twinkie can behave in a more acceptable manner.

Lehman House of Couture Assistant Position in Jeopardy

Miss Twinkie caught in the act!

Then tried to disavow any knowledge of alleged offenses.

Assistant Twinkie is officially on notice and cat treats will be withheld until behavior is modified.

Yep.

IMHO IMNSHO

The Twink has spoken.

Trying out my new cell phone camera. So far, I think the old one was probably better, but maybe things will improve once I get used to this one.

(after reading The Fab Furs' comment, I realized I needed to redo the title to do justice properly to the Twink)

Problem Solving

I caught Twinkie in action in the window last summer when our AC was out...

Time for a good scratch

There's not really enough room--raise the window a little more, slave

What do you mean you have other things to do?

Can't believe I have to do this myself. Maybe I can push it up this way.

Let me take a good look at this thing.

Something here makes it work.

Now I got it...

Well, now I got it...

Got it!

Obstacles to Weaving

I love to weave, but there are a couple of things that keep me from getting to weave as often as I'd like, especially since the oldest son is now back at home and has reclaimed his room which was my studio while he was elsewhere. That means I am unable to set up the table loom in a room that can be closed off from the cats. Here is what happened during my latest attempt at weaving.

Pants: "What??"

Twink: "Cool! Check it out!"

Pants: "I fit just perfectly."

Twink: "My turn!"

Twink: "Pretty cool from up here, too."

Twink: "What??"

My Head Feels Funny

While trying to post the snow update, along came Twinkie who jumped onto my shoulder and sat down on my head. I think she was trying to tell me something.

Twinkie in the Window

The inside cats are having a wonderful time enjoying the air and the outdoor sounds since we've been keeping the windows open. At first they seemed to compete for the choice spots, particularly this small den window that Pushkin claimed as her territory for several days. Now they seem to rotate from one location to another every few days. I caught Twinkie relaxing in the den window this afternoon and managed to get a photo of her with my cell phone.
