Boy! I just cannot seem to get myself together and get any posts
completed. I have several drafts that are getting moldy. One of these
days...one of these days...The worst part of being behind is that I'm
missing out on everyone's posts. Lots of catching up to do on my end.
The short version of it is that we are all well, the weather, despite all the rain, hasn't done
anything totally ridiculous here in Huntsville--yet--and we manage to
get from one day to the next, but sometimes it is a bit of a challenge.
Trying to get long-forgotten projects finished. Thinking about spring.
Keeping everyone in my thoughts and prayers. Oh, we did get a new canoe for the daughter...and the rest of us. Now just waiting until we can get out on the water and try it out. With all the rain we've had, I might be able to use it to get to the end of the street. A kayak is still to come before it's officially spring. Here's a sticker with the canoe company logo that I just had to put on the van. Love it! (what is this crazy computer/Blogger doing with the format??!!)
Let's see. What is it all those good folks say? Stay well. Do good work. Keep in touch. Keep looking up. We'll keep the light on for you.
I enjoy art and like to look for it in the natural world. My craft interests include handspinning and most of the fiber arts, especially knitting, weaving, and working with paper. Other important things are my family and friends, my pets, nature, literature, poetry, music, history, birding, star gazing, museums...and the list goes on. In other times and places, I've been an archaeologist, taught anthropology, and worked in a living history museum, so I find all sorts of things to hold my interest and keep me entertained. I hope to share some of these things with you.
