they're ALL great shots but i especially like the first one...as i'm looking through the fence...at the rocky shoreline...the water's edge...the landscape...all i want to do is go through the fence and investigate!! the close-up textures of the warehouse & the rusty landscape are very cool!!!! 'ditto landing'...i like it there...
Ditto Landing is one of my favorite spots. This warehouse site is just up a greenway path from Ditto and near Whitesburg Boat and Yacht Club. The building has so many wonderful colors and textures, especially on the back side where there is a good bit of vegetation.
I didn't get any fishing done that day. :( Gosh, haven't fished at all this summer due to lack of time and the excessive heat.
I like the rust landscape photo so much that I'm thinking of maybe doing a painting of it.
Unfortunately, I didn't see any wild bunnies while we were there.
I enjoy art and like to look for it in the natural world. My craft interests include handspinning and most of the fiber arts, especially knitting, weaving, and working with paper. Other important things are my family and friends, my pets, nature, literature, poetry, music, history, birding, star gazing, museums...and the list goes on. In other times and places, I've been an archaeologist, taught anthropology, and worked in a living history museum, so I find all sorts of things to hold my interest and keep me entertained. I hope to share some of these things with you.
excellent photos, full of interesting textures!
ReplyDeleteThese are truly great photographs.

ReplyDeleteNICE!
ReplyDelete(Catch any fish????)
I especially like the warehouse picture...it is a guessing game: how many pieces of whatever went into making the siding?

I agree. That rust landscape is amazing.
ReplyDeleteI particularly like the splotchy pink walls - but I am having a pink patch at the moment - I'm even spinning pink yarn!
