160 Yards

That's how long the finished two-ply yarn turned out to be. At about 20 wraps per inch, it's lace, baby, or fingering weight yarn, depending on which yarn chart you use. Now all I have to do is find a small project for it. Any suggestions?

    Beautiful colors and even spinning. Good job, girlfriend. How about knitting an interesting square or two to put under a vase of flowers , potted plant, interesting art object, etc. I think it adds visual effect and texture to something you like to have in your line of vision while sitting in your favorite spot.

    Really pretty colors, looks soft too. I was thinking "hat" when I saw it, but then it's really cold here today. I think that idea of making it like a little doily is a good idea too, that way you can admire it all the time.

    Would do, RG, but with 160 yards it would have to be a tiny version. 1600 to 2000 would maybe do it. Too bad those were only samples. I hope they decide to do larger batches.
