Baseball and Fireworks
Only a little late, here are photos made with my cell phone of the 4th of July baseball game between the Huntsville Stars and the West Tennessee Diamond Jaxx. Also some not great photos of the fireworks afterward. Hubby's employer did one of those company picnic things that the ball team offers, "Dinner with the Stars" where you can get hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, etc. down on the field level, so we spent a good bit of the game under the big white canopy that you can see in some of the photos. Unfortunately, the Stars lost to the Jaxx with a final score of 10-4.
I enjoy art and like to look for it in the natural world. My craft interests include handspinning and most of the fiber arts, especially knitting, weaving, and working with paper. Other important things are my family and friends, my pets, nature, literature, poetry, music, history, birding, star gazing, museums...and the list goes on. In other times and places, I've been an archaeologist, taught anthropology, and worked in a living history museum, so I find all sorts of things to hold my interest and keep me entertained. I hope to share some of these things with you.
I thought you really disliked the term "hubby"
ReplyDeleteOh, did I say that? Should have used "DH."
